- You contact us/we contact you to enquire about having a brand new website for your business.
- To arrange a FREE consultation where we can discuss your website needs such as what you want from your website to meet your company objectives, and then to match you up to our pricing structure relevant to your requirements. At this stage we can talk about various design ideas, colour schemes, and website content etc; as well as possible domain names obviously. We can come to you, or you can come to us.
- You then decide if you would like to use Blackpool Web Design to create your new website.
- If you do want Blackpool Web Design to be your company's webmaster, we will need a £200 deposit (cash/cheque) to begin the domain name registration process and to commence design work.
- We will then draft up a one page template using the ideas talked about in the consultation. This draft can be modified a reasonable number of times until you are satisfied with the website design.
- Once satisfied, you give us all the information/content that you want on your website and we will distribute the finalised design across the number of pages you need and update these pages with the content you have provided. By e-mail is the most preferable way to send information, but we do accept discs and flash drives, and can also scan in physical photographs as well as take new ones with our own digital camera.
- Once the website is completed final checks will be made and any forms, links, and e-mail addresses etc will be tested. You can also advise of any required amendments.
- Your new website will now be live and you will be invoiced the remaining balance of the agreed fee.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) campaigns
- If you opted for a search engine optimisation campaign, that begins now and we will manually submit your website to the major search engines, and start registering your website on relevant directory sites to start the creation of a reciprocal link database.
- This will continue on a monthly basis depending on the option you signed up for, and you will also be billed monthly for your SEO campaign.
Updates
- If you opted for an update package, we will update your site as and when agreed.
